My Dearest, dearest Shameel,
Today would have been 3 years. 3 years of you being the most important thing in the world to me. The idea that you are gone is more than I can deal with. While I try to go on, and deal with your passing, it is beyond impossible. I know you would want me to be strong, and that you cannot rest unless I allow myself to find a way to deal with this. But I am forever changed by your being in my life. I had no idea. I had no idea how much pain you were often in. I want to say I knew, but I didn't know. I would do anything for 5 more minutes. You are my soul mate. For that I am eternally grateful. Because I know what that is all about. I have to thank you for that. I love you now, as I have loved you all along. As you always used to say to me, "you had me from hello". I love you with all that I am, and all that I will ever be. I am just waiting to spend eternity with you in Heaven.
