Mrs. Mary P. (O'Brien) Heffernan, 66, of Alhambra California, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 1990 at San Gabriel Community Hospital in San Gabriel, California.

Born in Donegal, Ireland, she came to America at age 6 and grew up in Brooklyn, N.Y. Mary married James J. Heffernan and lived in the St. Rose of Lima parish. She moved the family to Wantagh, N.Y. in 1962 to continue
to raise her 2 sons, James D. and Brian and worked as a claims supervisor for American Mutual Insurance Co.
in Levittown, N.Y. Mary and Jim settled in Alhambra, California in 1972.

Mary was an endearing mother and wife as well as a devout Catholic. She is survived by her loving husband
James J. Heffernan, her brother Dan, sons James D. and Brian, and her 4 grandchildren Michael, Kimberlee, Matthew and Cailyn.

Her family and friends dearly miss her.
