July 9, 2004 was Reid's 18th birthday! 17 days after his 18th birthday Reid got into a car accident a passed away at the scene. Reid was on Crumstown HighWay, with his passenger Matt (Topper). They slid on the road and slid back then hit a tree. Reid died at the scene but passng- er Matt (Topper) lived. For the next week Matt (Topper) fought for his life, but made it through. Over two weeks while Matt (Topper) was in the hospital girlfriend-of one year-Nicole Stachowski stayed at that hospital by his side, along with the washington football team, friends , and family.
Reid was a very high spirted boy. He went to St. Joe Catholic High School, and was part of the bowling team. Reid loved music, and even played the guitar. Reid participated in Battle Of The Bands 2003 with his band.
Many people have many memoriez with Reid. Reid had many friends who miss him very much.
